STEVENSON HALL HHH HASH #116 Date: March 1, 1987 Weather: Rain Set by: The geezer Runners: Courtney, Pushner, Hiser, Wachspress (Effross) "First to Cooler" Joe Burns, Wachspress Description, comments: Only the intrepid turned out for this one as the rain poured down. Pascal left town looking for Pacific sea serpants, Mait decamped for Pittsburgh on an Iron City run, Smith was feigning illness and who knows where Gibson was. This short, wet hash left from the geezer's hovel, ran down Prospect and Harrison to the Butler Project, then zigged and zagged across the bridge to the fields beyond. Pushner was caught in an early Pushner trap, Courtney in a mid-run Courtney trap (checking uphill can be as dangerous as checking downhill, if the false trail is long enough), and they all took the last false trail. Wachspress found the cooler at the helio-pad largely because he smelled out the (obvious) bridge crossing, ignored the "off off", and thus survived the end-of-run Wachspress traps. Sorry about the numbering error in the last write up- The LRF forgot to tell me about the Feld-snow hash. We need bodies. Bring a friend. Next Hashes: #117, Sunday, March 8, 2 pm, Stevenson 91, Wachspress and Mait III set. #118, Sunday, March 15, 2 pm, Stevenson 91, Courtney, Hiser set.
