PHHH #1046.9 Date: Wednesday, June 22, 2005 Weather: Rebellious Start: Lost Trail Road, Lawrenceville Time: 90 minutes Hare: Hey YO! Paully Hounds: Delicate Psyche, Ouiepee, Justin, Nuttin' Stuck, Mary Jane (2nd hash, last seen on #952.9) Virgin: Cathy Supplee (last seen on #1046.9) Straight on to the Rainbow If you can't say something nice, don't say it, so let's hear it for the hare, who manfully drove an exhausted pack to the solsticially marvelous on-in at the Lawrenceville community vegetable gardens at the regroup. Everyone brightened up with two new exotic beers, Terhune Orchards cherries, and hotdogs while observing the spectacular rainbow to which the Wachspress double cross pointed as the site of the on-in. Mary Jane opined that the drinks were much more palatable than the breast milk proffered at her last Princeton hash, and everyone agreed that that HYP could recycle this hash another time when the weather is more clement. Everyone should be thankful that we didn't burst into this little ditty in toasting MJ and the virgin, tho' its lyrics are pregnant with meaning for hares and hounds alike: I'm always chasing rainbows Watching clouds drifting by My schemes are just like all my dreams Ending in the sky Some fellas look and find the sunshine I always look and find the rain Some fellas make a winning sometime I never even make a game Believe me I'm always chasing rainbows And waiting to find a little bluebird And then I'm always chasing rainbows And waiting to find a little bluebird In vain Mmm?
