Stevenson Hall HHH Hash # 103 Date: July 20, 1986 Weather: Hot, humid Set By: Bob Pascal Runners: Dan Wachspress, Dave Goldberg, MJ, Dave Effross, Stu Sharp "First to Cooler": Joe Burns, Wachspress Description, comments: The LRF, lately awarded the Presidential Medal of Alliteration, set a hash through old time Pascal territory featuring a loop around and through Stony Brook. The small group of summer hashers assembled included the geezer fresh off the Stamboul plane, and Goldberg who magically reappeared from no one knows where. Others were still missing: Ghaaxion was playing with his boats in the bath, Poison Evy had poison Ivy (or is it the other way round?), and Kkaufman was fretting over Pascal's inability to get the f's and m's right. Many memorable moments materialized (sorry Bob) on this good summer trail: Goldberg did his famous Weinstein imitation which had brought him such renown in silent movies, Pascal gave us an on-line botany tutorial, and Wachspress, and Sharp provided a lesson in strategic non checking as they lurked shamelessly at the arrows watching Effross and the geezer laboring up hills doing their parts sweating out the trail. Joe Burns finished so far ahead of the others on this one that he was gone when we all arrived. Thanks for leaving us some beer, Joe. Next Hash: #104 Sunday, July 27, 4 pm. Kauffmann sets.
