I'd Be a Millionaire by Jim Harrison

I drove a car when I was 12 or 13. I worked in the junk yard, and people would bring in old cars. One day we got one of them working and I stepped on the gas. I flew over a refrigerator and was headed for a truck. My boss was yelling, "Shut it off!" I didn't have to shut it off, it died all by itself.

Sometimes I think about all the old cars I cut up at the junk yard. There were old Studebakers, Plymouths, all kinds. I'd be a millionaire if I had them today.
