Our club was originally founded as the Trenton African Violet Club on November 19, 1948. In the early 1970’s, as the club grew and drew members from outside Trenton, its name was changed to the Garden State African Violet Club. Today our members hail from all over Mercer County as well as Middlesex County, Monmouth County, Burlington County, Ocean County, and Bucks County, PA. We are a 501(c) non-profit organization. |

The Trenton African Violet Club’s first show was held in the auditorium of the Trenton War Memorial building in 1949. |
