18th Annual High Heel Drag Race, New Hope Celebrates

If you love ghosts, ghouls, and goblins– you will love them even more in high heels and glitter! Join New Hope Celebrates as they kick off their 18th Annual High Heel Drag Race on Sunday, October 30th at 3:00pm on W. Mechanic Street in New Hope, PA. A long-standing tradition and highlight of the fall season in New Hope, this year’s theme is All that Glitters Are Ghouls - Bewitching beauties who sparkle, shine and know how to have a scary good time!

Hosted by New Hope’s very own Miss Pumpkin, race participants are dressed in costumes and wear 3” or taller high heels. Runners will carry a pumpkin up the hill on W. Mechanic Street, decorate the pumpkin and race back down the hill. This is an all-inclusive event, representing New Hope’s diversity and acceptance of all.
