Wine in the Time of Climate Change, C-Change Conversations
The world of wine is becoming more complicated as climate change impacts our favorite wine-growing regions and vineyards. What does it mean for us? How are vineyards coping? Given a warming climate, where will the best wines come from in the future? C-Change Conversations invites you to Wine in the Time of Climate Change, a fun evening of wine tasting and socializing with guest speaker Mark Censits. Mark is founder and president of CoolVines, a company that specializes in hand-crafted wines from around the world. He will provide fascinating insights on why winemaking is so vulnerable to climate change and how the industry is adapting. Mark will also share tips for good wines, good deals, and what we will need to think about when buying wine in a changing world. The short program will conclude with tasting “climate forward” wines.
