“Ciclovía” is a Spanish term that means cycleway, or a temporary closing of streets to automobiles for cyclists and pedestrians. Ciclovia Princeton will temporarily “reclaim” a few roads within town — Walnut Ln from Hamilton Ave to Guyot Ave — maximizing this public space with engaging, all-ages activities that bring people together to socialize, get creative, and move freely. Walk, run, bike, skate, roll, push strollers, dance, and enjoy the road at your own pace. However you move, or whether you simply pull out a lawn chair to take it all in, participate in whatever way feels good for you, car-free and care-free. Ciclovia Princeton is presented by Sustainable Princeton and the Arts Council of Princeton, with support from the Municipality of Princeton.
