Meeting of the 55-Plus Club of Princeton

Dr. William Hu, Director, Center for Healthy Aging Research, Associate Professor and Chief of Cognitive Neurology at Rutgers-RWJ Medical School and Institute for Health Policy and Aging Research, will speak on "Long Covid".

55-Plus Club of Princeton meets twice a month on Thursdays at 10 a.m., in person at 435 Nassau St, Princeton, AND online via ZOOM at its website at princeton55plus.org by clicking on "Upcoming Meetings" and then the word "HERE" for the scheduled meeting. Meetings are open to all and free of charge with a $5 donation suggested which can be made via the website or in person. 55-Plus is a non-profit non-sectarian volunteer organization that presents speakers on topics on history, politics, science, humanities and the arts.

5-7pm – Community Celebration. Stop by to meet anti-racist activists and learn more about the organizations that support their work.

Native Plant Workshop, Lawrence Headquarters Branch

Learn how to support local wildlife with native plants in this hands-on workshop led by Kelly Rypkema, Director of Environmental Education at Mercer County Park Commission on Thursday, June 19 at 6:00pm at the Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library System. Discover how to identify native plants, research the best ones for your space, and find local nurseries. Bring a smartphone or laptop if you can. Some lucky participants will take home a native plant to get started!
