Discover the perfect blend of scenic exploration and expert guidance with our complimentary walking program on the beautiful trails of Princeton. Led by a seasoned doctor of physical therapy, it’s not just a walk — it’s a chance to ask questions and learn about walking safety while surrounded by nature’s beauty. Walking sticks and canes are welcome, although participants must be able to keep up with the pace of the group in order to attend the program. This program is offered in partnership with Innovative Physical Therapy in Princeton. Leader: Dr. Laura Wong Koenig No fee, registration required.

The Spirit of African Americans in Central Jersey

African American history in Central New Jersey kicks off the fall season at the Kiwanis Club of Trenton's September 4, 2024 program, beginning at 12:15 p.m. in Leonardo's II Restaurant in Lawrenceville. Kiwanis is proud to welcome Anita Williams Galiano, Executive Director of the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum who will share a story of ingenuity, brilliance, resilience and the indomitable spirit of African Americans in the Central New Jersey region. Princeton Comic Makers presents: JERSEY ART MEETUPS (JAM), a weekly social event connecting creatives within the greater Central Jersey area through a shared passion for sequential art and new media. Attendees may use this open workshop space to draw, write, and develop their own artwork, with an opportunity to receive peer review and feedback from other members if desired. Illustrators, animators, writers, and generalists are all welcome to join and discuss their art and career goals, share learning resources, promote current projects, or find friends and collaborators. Must be 16+ to attend. Free.
