Preschool Nature Class @The Watershed

Join us as we learn about and find the wiggly creatures that help make dirt- worms! Classes generally include a craft, hike, and activity for the week's theme. We spend most of our time outdoors, so come dressed in layers and waterproof shoes.

This program is intended for children ages 3-5. Younger siblings are welcome to attend with a parent, but we ask that they do not participate in activities. Preregistration and adult attendance required. Discount available for members.

Community Class: STOP THE BLEED, Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad

Join our Stop the Bleed class to learn critical bleeding control techniques that can save lives in emergency situations. This practical course covers everything from basic wound care to advanced bleeding control methods, empowering you to act swiftly and effectively in a crisis. Your registration includes a personal Stop the Bleed kits with all of the items you'll learn to use in the class. After taking this class you can apply to be an official stop the bleed instructor.

Paul Robeson’s 126th Birthday Celebration, The Arts Council of Princeton

The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) will host a community celebration in honor of Paul Robeson’s 126th Birthday on Tuesday, April 9. This multi-media celebration will honor the legacy of Paul Robeson, Princeton’s “native son” and scholar, all American athlete, artist, and activist. This event is free and open to all ages, presented in partnership with the Witherspoon Jackson Historical and Cultural Society (WJHCS).

Flamenco Dancer and Choreographer Lisa Botalico will present a new work inspired by Robeson’s speech in support of the resistance against the rise of Fascism during the Spanish Civil War, titled The Artist Must Take Sides.

Free. Space is limited; seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Arts Council of Princeton, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton.
