Basket & Broom Making, Howell Living History Farm

Children's Craft: Paper Basket (11:00–3:00)

Take a close-up look at the craftsmanship that goes into making a basket and a broom when the artisans preserving these trades visit the farm for a day of demonstrations and teaching. There will also be opportunities to try your hand at some of the steps involved!

Fall Clean Up Day at the Princeton Battlefield

The Princeton Battlefield Society (PBS) invites interested local citizens and their families to come to their annual Fall Clean Up Day; enjoy the autumn weather and help keep Princeton Battlefield in great condition for future visitors.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 14, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Princeton Battlefield State Park located at 500 Mercer Street. Garden tools and gloves will be available to use for clean-up tasks although, please feel free to bring your own. 9th Annual Amazing Pumpkin Carve

The Hopewell Valley Arts Council is proud to announce the return of the Amazing Pumpkin Carve, back bigger and better than ever. In its ninth year, this year the Carve will be like an old-time festival with expanded activities and, of course, outrageously carved giant pumpkins. Visitors can wander through a captivating illuminated walk of creative Halloween fun from Wednesday, October 11 to Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Woolsey Park, Titusville, NJ.

Don't miss your chance to celebrate fall fun in Hopewell Valley while supporting the many talented artists who call this region home. The Amazing Pumpkin Carve is open for five days only: Wed, Oct 11 to Sun, Oct 15 at Woolsey Park, 221 Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, Titusville, NJ. kids in strollers are free. Evening of Traditional Indian Dance with Shivani Badgi, WWAC

West Windsor Arts is hosting a special solo dance performance by Shivani Badgi, an Indian American dancer, teacher and choreographer. Badgi will perform Nritya Mehfil, a traditional Kathak dance that originated in northern India hundreds of years ago. Kathak is derived from the Sanskrit word "katha," which means story. During a Kathak performance, the dancer becomes a storyteller through graceful, expressive movements.
