Eden Autism 5K & Fun Run/Walk

Come celebrate 20 years of running to support children and adults with autism! The first 1,000 registrants will receive a free shirt, hat, finisher's medal, and goodie bag. Opening Reception, "On Lenape Land", Friends for the Abbott Marshlands

The Friends for the Abbott Marshlands (FFAM) announce their fall exhibit, "On Lenape Land" by New Jersey artist Susan Hoenig. Her solo exhibition of paintings and forest compositions will be on view October 1-December 31, 2023, with an Opening Reception Sunday, October 1, 2:30–4:30 pm at Tulpehaking Nature Center, 157 Westcott Ave., Hamilton, New Jersey, open Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., and Sundays 1- 4 p.m. the public is invited to visit and the show is FREE to attend.

Belle Mead Friends of Music Meeting

The Belle Mead Friends of Music will hold its first meeting of the 2023-2024 season on Sunday, October 1, at 3 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton on Cherry Hill Road. The program will include Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, played by pianist Rosanne Nahass; Schumann's Forest Scenes, played by pianist Frances Fowler Slade; and Mozart's Sonata in F major, K. 376, played by violinist Burgel Zomorodi and pianist Lew Coopersmith.

Until now, publicity for the BMFM has always been "word of mouth." With the additional space at the UUCP, new members and guests are welcome as listeners and performers. Members pay a suggested annual contribution, and guests may make donations. For more information, contact Program Director Lew Coopersmith (coopersmith@rider.edu).

Fall Fest, Friends of Princeton Open Space (FOPOS)

Join Friends of Princeton Open Space for a Fall Fest fundraiser!

Funds raised will support paid summer internships for college students pursuing environmental majors, a program that helps train the next generation of environmental stewards; and for our new summer internship program for high school students.

Enjoy local craft beer, hard cider, plant-based fall food, live music and nature themed activities for all ages in the beautiful setting of the Mountain Lakes House, overlooking the lake at the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve in Princeton, New Jersey.
