Fridays at Mercer Cemetery at Trenton

Gather with a spirited group of friends each Friday during September to learn more about the historic Mercer Cemetery at Trenton! Break away from your office or home to enjoy live music (Yes, live!) as well as food trucks! Weather will dictate whether the event will take place.

Participating food trucks include The Latest Dish, Shabazz Fish & Chips, Chic Gourmet Empanadas, Ice Dreamz Water Ice, and H&S Ice Cream.

Fridays at Mercer Cemetery at Trenton will begin Friday, September 1 and will repeat itself on September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. The event will run from 11am to 2pm. The Mercer Cemetery at Trenton is located at 42 South Clinton Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08625.

Fall Native Plant Sale, D&RGreenway

D&R Greenway announces a wide variety of healthy local plants are ready for purchase at their annual Fall Native Plant Sale taking place on Friday, September 22: 2:30 pm-5:30 pm and Saturday, September 23: 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Planting natives enhances home gardens in natural beauty, attracts butterflies and birds in the landscape, and contributes to protection of a healthy bioregion.

The Nursery is on the grounds of D&R Greenway's Conservation Campus at the Johnson Education Center, One Preservation Place, [off Rosedale Road] Princeton, NJ 08540. Native Plant Sale proceeds support D&R Greenway's preservation and stewardship mission. www.drgreenway.org.

Oppenheimer Walking Tour, Historical Society of Princeton

Want to learn more about Princeton’s role in J. Robert Oppenheimer’s life and the development of the atomic bomb? Inspired by the release of Christopher Nolan’s movie, this tour will traverse the University campus (including locations where Oppenheimer was filmed) while sharing stories about the local academics recruited to work on the Manhattan Project.

Harvest Moon Concert, Hopewell Borough's Gazebo Park

The Harvest Moon Concert is a free live music event the night before the Hopewell Harvest Fair to kick off the celebration and set the tone. This year’s Friday event will be at Hopewell Borough's Gazebo Park from 6-8PM, featuring local band Castle Lane, and there will be food available for sale provided by the Hopewell Fire Dept. This event is sponsored by The Morehouse Family honoring the Hopewell Fire Dept and EMU.
