Nature Walk: Herpetofauna of New Jersey, FOPOS

Friday June 23, 2023
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

What's a "herp" you say?! The term “herp” is how scientists casually refer to a reptile (lizards, snakes, turtles) or amphibian (frogs, toads, salamanders, and newts). Join Esteban Mendez, a FOPOS 2023 Land Steward Intern who has conducted research on native snakes, as we explore the diverse and amazing species of herps that crawl, climb, swim, and slither through the forests of New Jersey and right here in Princeton. This free walk will take place on Friday, June 23rd from 2:00-4:00pm.
