Come join Watershed Educators Alison Novobilsky and Vicky Allen for the seasonal opening of the Kate Gorrie Butterfly House and first Butterfly House Tour of the Season. Learn about the plants in the Buttterfly House and the lifecycle of butterflies. Play the Monarch Migration Game and try to catch butterflies around the retention pond with nets.
The Kate Gorrie Butterfly House is accessible, free and open daily from dawn until dusk (mid-June through mid-September) except during a scheduled program or tour. Ages 2 and up. Adult attendance and preregistration is required for this free event.

The Lawrence Headquarters Branch of the Mercer County Library will hold its inaugural Health & Happiness Fair on Saturday, June 10th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in conjunction with the Lawrence Health Department.
The library is partnering with more than twenty physical and mental health resource providers, as well as community agencies, organizations, and businesses to bring programs of support to the public free of charge. Agencies will address cancer screening and prevention, senior services, mental health services including sleep and wellness, suicide prevention, addiction, grief counseling and more.
Participating health vendors will offer blood pressure checks, eye screening, body composition analysis and fall prevention tips. The Lawrence Health Department will provide COVID-19 vaccines for adults. In addition to crafts and activities for kids, participants may attend a meet and greet with a therapy dog, take part in raffles and enjoy free giveaways and snacks.

Princeton Public Library is celebrating Worldwide Knit in Public Day Saturday, June 10, on the green at the Princeton Shopping Center. The library has teamed up with the Princeton Makes Artists Cooperative to present this year’s event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shopping center at 301 Harrison St.
Held each year on the second Saturday in June, Worldwide Knit in Public Day was started in 2005 as a way to make the solitary act of knitting an occasion to connect with other knitters in the community.

On Saturday, June 10th from 2 to 5 pm, local nonprofit Storytelling Arts will hold a summer storytelling festival at the American Legion Post 120 at 320 N Union Street in Lambertville, behind the Rago Auction building. Guests can expect illuminating storytelling performances, live bands, children's hands-on art activities, and a silent auction complete with fine art, baskets, gift certificates and more that are guaranteed to please all.
Bringing blankets or chairs is recommended for this outdoor storytelling and music by The Crickets and the Laurie Vosburg Band. Indoor children's activities include making Origami, Puppets, and Crankie Stories. Food and drink will be available for purchase. The Silent Auction will be open from 2 to 4:30pm. There is a suggested tax-deductible donation of $10 for adults to Storytelling Arts. Children are admitted free.
