Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month is a way to honor the contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, learn about AAPI history and cultures, and amplify AAPI voices. Princeton Active Circle is partnering with the Institute of Financial Intelligence (IFI), Where Music Carries Us (WMCU), and the Museum of Chinese In America (MOCA) to host this 5K Run 'n' Walk in Princeton. Whether you're a previous participant or a new voice waiting to be heard, we're pretty sure you'll find the festivities inspired and inspiring. Join us at the Lawrence High School 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Bring your kids and their bike- A rodeo trail is set up for those just learning how to ride. Free new bike helmets, donated by Capital Health will be handed out and fitted properly. Lots of information about what the sustainable groups in Mercer are doing. A great Electric Car show with the latest models and people who own them to talk to. Bike Rodeo and trail maps will be available. Bike to Lawrence High School for the 2023 Bike Rodeo- Let's Green Together.

The Magic and History of Marquand Park, Historical Society of Princeton

Once part of a 30-acre farm owned by Judge Richard Stockton Field, Marquand Park is home to more than 140 different tree specimens, some dating back more than 170 years! Explore this incredible preserve with members of the Marquand Park Foundation, who will share the property’s history and highlight the native and exotic trees in the collection. The event is free to the public, with advanced registration required, as space is limited.

D&R Greenway Public Grand Opening, Discovery Center at Point Breeze

D&R Greenway Land Trust is pleased to welcome community members to the Public Opening of the new Discovery Center at Point Breeze on Saturday, May 20, 2023, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., 101 Park Street in Bordentown, NJ. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 1:00 pm in front of the paneled mahogany doors at the entrance to the Discovery Center. Barbara ‘Blue Jay’ Michalski will offer a Lenape blessing. Bordentown City Mayor Jennifer Sciortino will be joined with State and local dignitaries to cut the ribbon, along with D&R Greenway President and CEO Linda Mead who oversaw the design of the new museum.

Members of the public are invited to the Public Grand Opening on May 20 to tour of the new Discovery Center and Historic Garden, view art and never-before-seen exhibits and a Delaware River sturgeon sculpture by artist Kate Graves.

Colors of Indian Music, West Windsor Arts Council

7:00pm-8:00pm: Hustle lesson (beginner/intermediate) taught by our talented, award-winning instructor Donna Boyle.

8:00pm-11:00pm: Open dancing to a great playlist of California Mix, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Night Club 2-Step, Hustle, and Latin dance music with Donna Boyle as DJ.
