Bike Rodeo, Sustainable Lawrence

Join us at the Lawrence High School 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Bring your kids and their bike- A rodeo trail is set up for those just learning how to ride. Free new bike helmets, donated by Capital Health will be handed out and fitted properly. Lots of information about what the sustainable groups in Mercer are doing. A great Electric Car show with the latest models and people who own them to talk to. Bike Rodeo and trail maps will be available. Bike to Lawrence High School for the 2023 Bike Rodeo- Let's Green Together.

Princeton Public Library’s 12th Local Author Day

Princeton Public Library’s 12th Local Author Day, a recognition of area authors and their books, is being held Saturday, April 29. Featuring an Author Fair where writers will display and sign copies of their books, the day also includes presentations for writers and a pop-up “grammar table.”

Princeton Porchfest 2023

Porchfest is a walkable music festival where neighbors offer up their front porches as DIY concert venues. Talented local performers play rotating sets throughout the neighborhood during this day-long celebration of music, art, and our wonderful community. Porchfest is free, open to the public, and designed to be easily accessible by foot and bike. Plus, town is full of amazing options for lunch, dinner, and drinks.

Jazz in the Sourlands, True Farmstead

The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum (SSAAM) will celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month and the history of African American music in New Jersey with "Jazz in the Sourlands," a series of special events on Friday April 28 and Saturday April 29.

The Saturday outdoor concert is a BYO, blankets, chairs, food and refreshments event. It will take place Saturday, April 29, from 1 - 4 pm, rain or shine. Tickets for the Saturday outdoor concert and exhibit can be purchased online and for $25 adults and $15 for children 14 years and under.

The Untold Stories of Storied People Program

The Untold Stories of Storied People Program presents six diverse New Jersey storytellers who will perform powerful personal stories that define and contextualize the authentic American experiences of those who society often ignores or silences. The performance will take place from 4:30 to 6:30pm at the Acme Screening Room, 25 S. Union Street in Lambertville.

Untold Stories is a program of Storytelling Arts, a 27-year-old nonprofit based in Lambertville. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or online at https://www.acmescreeningroom.org/.
