17th Annual Watershed Stream Cleanups

Register now and volunteer for the 17th Annual Watershed Stream Cleanups on April 15th and 22nd and help clean up a stream in your neighborhood!

The Watershed's Stream Cleanups are a volunteer opportunity for youth and adults that help make our watersheds healthier, protect our environment and beautify our communities. Over the years, thousands of volunteers have removed over 71 tons (141,000 pounds) of trash from our streams. There are 15 cleanups on the schedule located throughout Central New Jersey. Storytime with Jeff, Arts Council of Princeton

Every Saturday at 10am, enjoy a morning of story and song with Jeff Trainor of JaZams! Storytime with Jeff is a half-hour event that welcomes families to sing, dance, read, and enjoy some free fun. Jeff is an accomplished musician and actor with a growing fanbase among the Princeton toddler community (and their parents as well!) This interactive event features books, songs, rhymes and movement for kids ages 0-8, accompanied by an adult family member or guardian. No registration required. Free and open to all.

Conversation & Book Signing with Adam Gopnik, Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice

An intimate conversation & book-signing with acclaimed author, New Yorker columnist, & OG "Radical of the Real" Adam Gopnik. Copies of his new book, "The Real Work: On the Mystery of Mastery," will be available for purchase and signed by the author in support of the LGBTQIA safe-space and community activist center. "Loteria" @ Art on Hulfish

On April 15th Princeton Human Services, Princeton University Arts Museum and Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund will host “Loteria”. All are welcome to come and enjoy this popular Mexican game of chance. Lotería will be called in Spanish and English. Winners will receive a prize and refreshments will be served. View the exhibition You Belong Here: Place, People, and Purpose in Latinx Photography, which celebrates Latinx photographers across the United States. The event will be held at Art on Hulfish, 11 Hulfish Street from 3-5 pm.

Central Jersey Dance Society No Name Dance

Central Jersey Dance Society presents our No Name Dance:

7:00pm-8:00pm: Night Club 2-Step lesson (beginner/intermediate) taught by our talented instructor Alan Saperstein.

8:00pm-11:00pm: Open dancing to a great playlist of California Mix, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Night Club 2-Step, Hustle, and Latin dance music with Alan Saperstein as DJ.

Location: Suzanne Patterson Center, 45 Stockton Street (for GPS, use: 1 Monument Drive), Princeton, NJ 08540. No partner needed; newbies, singles, and couples are welcome. Sanitation stations provided. Dancers are encouraged to bring their own bottles of water. Admission: $15/adult, $10/full time student with ID.
