It's maple sugaring season! Join Pat Heaney, Assistant Director of Education, on February 25th for our annual maple sugaring event. Discover the history, folklore, and science of maple sugaring. Visit some of our maple trees and learn how we tap them using drills and spiles. You'll learn about the evaporation process and how sticky sap transforms into sweet maple syrup and even sample some sweet maple sugar. Dress for indoor and outdoor activities and wear your boots!
There will be three sessions on February 25th. Register now. Please note that the sap may not be running during all of the program sessions.

Visit the Old Barracks Museum this February as it hosts the Four Centuries of African American Soldiers event. This vivid living history program tells the heroic stories of America's black warriors spanning four hundred years until today. The program includes authentic military artifacts, re-enactors, and military veterans sharing their own personal stories. This is a rich, engaging, and fascinating program that pays tribute to the contributions of African American Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen to the military history of the United States.
The Four Centuries of African American Soldiers event will be held on Saturday, February 25th, from 10am-4pm, and Sunday, February 26th, from 12pm-4pm. Admission is free. More information can be found at www.barracks.org.

Every Saturday at 10am, enjoy a morning of story and song with Jeff Trainor of JaZams! Storytime with Jeff is a half-hour event that welcomes families to sing, dance, read, and enjoy some free fun. Jeff is an accomplished musician and actor with a growing fanbase among the Princeton toddler community (and their parents as well!) This interactive event features books, songs, rhymes and movement for kids ages 0-8, accompanied by an adult family member or guardian. No registration required. Free and open to all. Learn more.
