Moving Forward 5K Run/5K Walk, The WorkWell Partnership

The WorkWell Partnership is proud to announce our Inaugural Moving Forward 5k Run and 5k Walk which will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 9:00 am on the beautiful ETS campus in Princeton, NJ. Whether you are a competitive runner, participating in your first 5K, or simply out to walk or run with your friends and the community at your own pace, this event will be sure to please! All proceeds raised from this event will support the mission of The WorkWell Partnership: Working together to equip returning citizens with job skills, dignity, and hope.

West Windsor Community Farmers' Market

It’s all about local food and seasonality at the West Windsor Farmers Market! This year’s season kicks off on May 7th and running every Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm, the market will be filled with local farmers and artisan food producers, including a knife sharpener, all from within fifty miles of West Windsor to celebrate the bounty of New Jersey. This season’s roster includes nearly fifty farms and vendors, several with a rotating schedule, including a baker under the new NJ Cottage Rule.

Market held rain or shine in the lower Vaughn Lot of the Princeton Junction Train Station - ENTRANCE FROM 877 Alexander Road, free parking. NJ Transit bus 877 or Dinky and ½ mile walk to Vaughn Lot. Visit wwcfm.org or call 609-913-7581.

The WWCFM accepts SNAP/EBT and offers matching incentives towards fruit & vegetable purchases (up to $20 per market day). Annual S.H.R.E.D fest, Municipality of Princeton

Revolutionary Encampment @ West Windsor History Museum

Join the Historical Society of West Windsor and the reenactors of the 6th Pennsylvania Regiment for a FREE, weekend-long colonial festival on Saturday, October 15 from 11 am-5 pm and Sunday, October 16 from 11 am-3 pm. The revolutionary encampment will feature Continental Army soldiers, British spies, musket firing demonstrations, trades/crafts, and much more! Walking Tour: Cadwalader Park in Trenton

In partnership with the Historical Society of Princeton, the Trenton Museum Society and Marquand Park Foundation will present “home and away” tours of two historic landscapes, Cadwalader Park in Trenton on October 15 and Marquand Park in Princeton on October 22.

Cadwalader Park was the last great urban park designed by the founder of American landscape design, Frederick Law Olmstead. At its center is an Italianate villa, Ellarslie Mansion, designed by renowned architect John Notman in 1848.
