Verizon Wireless 5G Public Forum

Verizon Wireless will be hosting a virtual public forum to discuss plans to upgrade its wireless network in Princeton by installing small cell nodes in the public right-of-way. Verizon states that the small cell nodes will improve the municipality’s telecommunications infrastructure by delivering increased data capacity, providing faster connectivity speeds, and improving the overall public safety communication options by delivering a superior wireless network to Princeton.

Verizon Wireless will be hosting this virtual public forum on Wednesday, February 9 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. This forum will be available for everyone from the public to attend via Google Meet or by telephone. Online Author Lectures, Old Barracks Museum

The Old Barracks is pleased to host two lectures by leading historians sponsored by the Society of Sons of the Revolution in the State of New Jersey. Lectures are online, free to attend, and start at 7 pm. Books can be ordered online at www.barracks.org.

Wednesday, February 9 at 7 PM: T. Cole Jones will present "The Problem of Prisoners of War in the American Revolution" which focuses on his book "Captives of Liberty: Prisoners of War and the Politics of Vengeance in the American Revolution." This lecture will examine how the founding generation of Americans grappled with the problems of prisoner treatment.
