In Person Event -  We are looking for gently used Fall and Winter clothing for Adults and Children and new underwear and socks for adults and children--and gently used small appliances coffee makers, microwave ovens, and toaster ovens. ?Please separate the clothing by size in bags/ boxes and label size.

Back to Face the Music, Boheme Opera NJ

On Sunday, October 24 at 2:00pm, at Diamond’s Restaurant, 69 Route 156 in Yardville, Boheme Opera will host Back to Face the Music when it features three artists of different career paths, presenting three sets of opera arias and duets, as well as Broadway hits and a few Neapolitan surprises. Patrons will be treated to a four-course luncheon. Meet soprano Amy Suznovich, tenor John Easterlin and baritone Joe Lodato.

African Ancestry – Trace Your DNA, Find Your Roots, William Trent House Museum

The Trent House Association in partnership with the Greater Trenton branch of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) hosts an introduction to African Ancestry on Saturday, October 24, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. This is a free program offered both in-person at the Trent House Museum Visitor Center and via Zoom. Pre-registration is required on Eventbrite at https://bit.ly/3BLiuuL.

African Ancestry uses an individual's DNA, collected in a simple at-home procedure to analyze DNA to identify the countries and ethnic groups in the mother's family line for people of African descent. The information session will be led by Diallo Sumbry, Founder and President of the Adinkra Group.
