The author, ecologist, conservationist and founder of the Old-Growth Forest Network, discusses and signs copies of "Treepedia: A Brief Compendium of Arboreal Lore." Featuring nearly 100 entries — on topics ranging from tree ecology and conservation to the role of trees in religion, literature, art, and movies — this collection is a celebration of all things arboreal. The book is portable in size and is made from 100 percent recycled, uncoated, wood-free paper. Illustrations are by Maren Westfall. This is a special event of the Princeton Environmental Film Festival presented in collaboration with the Friends of Herrontown Woods.
This is an in-person event in the clearing by Veblen House at Herrontown Woods. Some seating is available, but if you have a folding chair to bring that would helpful.
