Preschool Nature Class - Crickets and Grasshoppers, The Watershed Institute

Identify, catch, and listen to the songs of our reserve’s crickets and grasshoppers!

Join Watershed Education Intern Kate Hode at the Watershed Reserve for an outdoors preschool program. Class will include a lesson on the topic of the day, followed by a hike, art activity, and games. Ages 3-5. In-person program. Masks and social distancing encouraged; adult attendance required. Discount available for members. Dress for the weather.

Closing Reception And Artist Talk, James Kerney Campus Gallery

Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) James Kerney Campus Gallery (JKCG) will celebrate its latest exhibition "The Mark And The Memory" on Tuesday, September 14 from 6–8 p.m. with a closing reception and artist talk. The public is invited.

The artist talk will be moderated by Philadelphia/New Jersey based artist, curator and educator, Ryann Casey along with the author of the show's moving essay, "Kate Spiller."

Free Intro Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, PCYH

Learn new strategies to release stresses and find a new sense of calm. Learn about this innovative and effective program, meet the program leader. Bring your questions. The session ends with a short meditation. NOTE: Participation in this introductory session is not required for participation in the program and is not part of the 8 week program.
