NAMIWalks Your Way Mercer County

On May 22, 2021, NAMIWalks will be a virtually virtual experience, united with NAMIWalks across the country. NAMIWalks Your Way means instead of putting one foot in front of the other, you get to put one feat in front of the other: participants get to use their creativity, with the main rule that we continue to advance towards our goal by leaps and bounds. The choice is yours on how you want to make this spring’s event fit into this spring’s reality.

Our collective mental health needs are at their greatest now. One in three U.S. adults reported experiencing depression or anxiety since the pandemic began. NAMI’s programs and advocacy are needed more than ever, and with your help, we are pleased to present NAMIWalks Your Way on Saturday, May 22, 2021,

Annual Miki & Friends Open AIR Event, Attitudes in Reverse

Attitudes In Reverse® (AIR™), a Princeton-based nonprofit, will host its annual Miki & Friends OPEN AIR™ event on May 22, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the pavilion in West Windsor Community Park, Bernt Midland Blvd. (Hightstown Road/Route 571 near West Windsor Water Works), West Windsor, New Jersey.

In recognition of COVID-19 concerns, the event will follow social distancing and other public health guidelines. There will still be several family-friendly activities including the walk, music, vendors, Blessing of the Animals, a Butterfly Release Ceremony, AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing and raffle. AIR will continue the annual tradition of a butterfly release ceremony to honor loved ones who have passed away.

The event will also feature a 5K walk with social distancing guidelines in place and live musical performances by New Jersey teens KD’s Music, Kyler St. Phard and students from Fusion Academy of Princeton. Author Laura Vaisman will be signing copies of her book Penny Panic. A portion of the book’s proceeds will be donated to AIR. Registration to participate in the event and to have loved ones honored during the butterfly release ceremony is available at

Family Exploration on the Stony Brook Trail, The Watershed

Join us on a hike to explore the Stony Brook as it winds through the Watershed Reserve. By focusing on seasonal ecology, we will learn about a variety of plants and animals that live at the Watershed Reserve. Ages 8 and up. Dress for the weather of the day. Masks, social distancing, and adult attendance required. Discount available for members.

2021 ArtWalk, West Windsor Arts

Join West Windsor Arts for their second annual ArtWalk on May 22nd from 11AM-2PM (Rain Date: May 23rd). Featuring a 1-mile family fun walk with art activities, family picnic, music, and more! Your registration includes art activities and completion certificate. Walk our route and pick up craft items along the way. We will keep everyone motivated and moving as they complete our 1-mile course. Return to the Arts Center to get your walk certificate, make your crafts, eat your picnic lunch under tents, and groove to the music. Registration is $25 per family of up to 4, children under 3 are free, $8 for individuals. Every registration will be entered to win one of three prize packages worth over $100!

Math E-Carnival, Institute for Advanced Study & Princeton Public Library

Professor Margaret Readdy and students from the Institute for Advanced Study's 2021 Women and Mathematics program present an interactive, fun and hands-on mathematics e-Carnival. Test your skills at solving mathematical challenges, try to decode secret messages, learn what math has to do with voting, and see if you can construct a one-sided piece of paper.

This program is open to children 6 years and older, teens, adults and families. A zoom link will be emailed the day of the event.

The Art of Wine Tasting with Kevin Zraly, Arts Council of Princeton

Join us for an evening of entertainment with Kevin Zraly who’s been called “the most charismatic wine educator in the world,” as he leads us through his famous “One Hour Wine Expert” course. He’s the recipient of a James Beard Lifetime Achievement Award, and his Windows on the World Complete Wine Course is the world’s best-selling wine guide for a reason. Kevin’s accessible approach emphasizes personal preference, enjoyment, and knowledge.

Receive four bottles of wine selected by Kevin and a curated cheese and charcuterie board from Olsson’s Fine Foods of Princeton. We’ll end the evening with live music. Let’s make a night of it! This virtual event is a special fundraiser to support our Outreach Programs serving seniors in community housing, low-income students, and homeless youth.

A ticket to this event includes an exclusive Wine Tasting Experience Package, including four bottles of wine selected by Kevin Zraly + a paired charcuterie board curated by Olsson’s Fine Foods of Princeton.
