Community Conversations - How to Show You Care – Volunteers, Staff, Board and Donors, Princeton Community Works

Tuesday February 9, 2021
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

The purpose of these informal discussions with our nonprofit colleagues is to share informally in a safe space, what's working and what isn't in the current climate and to collaborate on ideas going forward. We can learn from each other to help our organizations survive and thrive.

Since everyone is not experiencing "business as usual," Princeton Community Works has developed the virtual tool Community Conversations. This will allow nonprofit professionals and volunteers to share their concerns, ideas and to help each other. Community Conversations will be focused discussions on different topics such as staffing, operations, giving, collaboration, self-care, and volunteers in the "New Normal." The conversations are informal, like you would have if you met colleagues over coffee. These are not workshops. For complete details, schedule, and to Register, please visit our web site: https://www.princetoncommunityworks.org/2021/01/12/community-conversations/

Additional Discussions: March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8

With Rajan Narayanaswamy, PH.D. Interactive Zoom Class The Hindu religion and culture are one of the oldest in the world. Its richness and variety and the number of facets and branches of study and practices it has spawned is myriad. In this series of two talks the speaker will try to introduce all these branches and go into the details of a few of them. The Hindu religion is often called by the term 'Sanatana Dharma' which can be translated loosely as 'Eternal way of living'. Indeed, that is what the Hindu Faith and culture is all about; an ancient way of living that attempts to bring out the best in us - righteousness, truth, compassion and charity and overseen by a strong belief in a higher power and intelligence that guides us in this path and always protects us.

For security reasons, Registration is required for all programs. To register, please send an email with your full name and the Course Code RAJAN to: info@thejewishcenter.org Registration closes 24 hours before the class. We cannot accept late registrations.
