Erin Postlethwait of AHA will lead a case study of what's worked – and what hasn't – for virtual events in 2020 and how to put these findings into practice for your non-profit.

LifeTies, located in Ewing, NJ, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to nurture wellness and self-sufficiency in vulnerable youth, young adults and their families. It is our vision that every youth and young adult can enjoy life's possibilities and have the resources to be healthy, connected and contributing members of their communities. Unfortunately the mental health challenges our youth deal with are being exacerbated by this global health crisis and we need the support of volunteers now more than ever.

Please join us at a virtual information session to learn more about how a small amount of your time can make a huge difference. Opportunities include mentoring (currently virtual), sharing knowledge & expertise to help youth attain life skills via Zoom, working on our event committee and more! NAMI Mercer Virtual Gala

Heroes of Hope and Healing will be the theme of NAMI Mercer’s 19th annual benefit gala on Thursday evening, December 17, at 7:00 pm. This event, formerly called “Night OUT with NAMI”, will be virtual this year and thus has been renamed “Night IN with NAMI”.

NAMI Mercer’s special guest and Visionary Award honoree will be Maurice Benard, two-time daytime Emmy winner who has played Sonny on the ABC daytime drama General Hospital for the past 27 years. Diagnosed with bipolar disorder at 22, Benard has been a long-time advocate for persons affected by mental illness.
