Eight-part series featuring academics from across the country via Zoom. Michal Raucher of Rutgers University presents “The Ethics of Gestational Surrogacy.” Is surrogacy a form of classism? Is it the exploitation of the vulnerable? How do we consider the parental identity of a surrogate? Is paid surrogacy the commodification of human life?
