Coffee, tea, and juice are provided as well as fruit, savories, and sweets.

Social Coffee meets on the THIRD THURSDAY of every month unless there is a holiday conflict. Please feel free to bring your own cup—it helps with clean-up and avoids waste.

Ageism Workshop, Princeton Senior Resource Center

Thursday January 16, 2020
10:30 AM

Thursdays, beginning January 16 (Jan. 16, 23, 30 & Feb. 6, 13, 20), 10:30 a.m. at Princeton Public Library, First Floor Quiet Room

Join us as for a six-week exploration of ageism in Ashton Applewhite’s book, This Chair Rocks. Since childhood we are bombarded by media images and negative societal messages of inevitable decline. In this book, Applewhite fights against these stereotypes by delivering information on its roots and where to go from here. Together, we will read the book and discuss how to change the way we look at the aging process. Facilitated by PSRC’s Nicole Maccarone, MSW, and Helen Burton. Cosponsored by the Princeton Public Library and PSRC. Class limit: 15
