Over the course of just three generations, we have observed a dramatic change in childhood. Children are spending more time scheduled in structured activities and "on screens," leaving little time for unstructured play in nature. This has led to physical and psychological impacts on children's health and overall well-being. Sharing images and statistics, Nicole Langdo will explain why getting children outside is crucial, now more than ever, and just how easy it is to do so!
Time will be reserved for Q&A at the end. This talk is geared towards anyone who has concerns over the development of this generation of young people. Advance registration is required. Subscribe to SC's eNewsletter for event information and registration links. www.tiny.cc/SCeNewsletter
