Princeton Photo Workshop: NYC Subways Series: The Art Underground and the Subterranean Street

Princeton Photo Workshop: NYC Subways Series: The Art Underground and the Subterranean Street We will explore the NYC Subway, finding astonishing museum-quality artworks in the Subway's labyrinth of corridors while we capture the energy and soul of the commuters and musicians who inhabit the underground street. In the Old Subway, we'll shoot a Roy Lichtenstein mural and passageways lined with colorful glass mosaics. In the New Subway, we'll shoot Chuck Close's and Vik Muniz' extraordinary contemporary mosaics and the spectacular Oculus at the World Trade Center Transportation Hub.

First Sunday Films at the Watershed Center

Join as we watch several short films that center on the importance of native plants.Then ask questions of The Watershed Institute experts, Stormwater Specialist Kory Kreiseder and Stewardship Coordinator, Allison Jackson.

We are excited to bring you free environmental films at the Watershed Center every first Sunday of the month at 1 p.m. Screenings include a variety of topics and film styles including documentaries and major motion pictures. Enjoy free, local, organic popcorn at the show and spend some time on the beautiful Watershed Reserve before and after the movie.

Historic Princeton Walking Tour - Bainbridge House

Enjoy a 90 minute* walk around downtown Princeton and the University campus as you learn about historic sites in the area, including Bainbridge House, Nassau Hall, the University Chapel and Palmer Square. The early history of Princeton, the founding of the University and the American Revolution are just some of the stories from Princeton’s history that you will learn on your tour.

Tickets are $7. Advance purchase is recommended, as space is limited. Walk up ticket sales are cash only; guides cannot provide change.

Concert, Gay Men's Chorus of Philadelphia

Brotherly Love, a vocal ensemble drawn from the Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus will be performing popular music ranging from Broadway hits to hymns. The concert is sponsored by the Rainbow Ministry of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton. Suggested donation $10.
