Sierra Lecture: "Science Literacy and Democracy;" Wed. January 9, 2019; 6:00pm-pizza, 6:30pm-program by Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker, PhD. Mercer County Community College – Student Center/Welcome Center – Room SC 104 (first floor).

Dr. Zwicker. Dr. Zwicker has a PhD in Physics from Johns Hopkins University. He is Head of the Science Education Department, Plasma Physics Laboratory at Princeton University. He first won election to the NJ General Assembly in 2016. He is Chair of the Assembly Science, Innovation and Technology Committee. Easy parking close to building. Use the Hughes Drive entrance - parking is straight ahead at the Student Center. Follow signs to the room. Security arm to parking will be up.

A panel of teens and young adults will discuss their experiences creating meaningful educations for themselves without school. The panel will include current members and alumni of Princeton Learning Cooperative who will tell their story, with a Q&A to follow.
