D&R Greenway Land Trust’s Autumn Native Plant Sale will be held Friday, October 12 from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, October 13 from 9 a.m. to noon, at D&R Greenway’s Native Plant Nursery. Special Olympics New Jersey Sports Showcase

Join us for the Winter/Spring Sports Showcase where you’ll learn everything you need to know on how to get involved with Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ). Find out how to register to become an athlete, what sports are offered, as well as information about training in your local area. Parents and caregivers will then attend an informational meeting about how to get started and what to expect, while athletes ages 6 and older will be able to try basketball.

Breast Cancer Resource Center’s Community Health Fair

This year will be the YWCA Princeton Breast Cancer Resource Center’s 2nd year holding a community health fair! Everything at the health fair is FREE and no insurance is required to participate in any of the screenings or checks. Some of the free services and activities that will be offered include: free cancer screenings (mammograms, pap smears, prostate, and colorectal), cholesterol and blood pressure screenings, eye screenings, fitness class demonstrations, children’s activities, and free food trucks!
