NAMI Mercer Harvest of Hope Annual Wellness Conference

A public educational effort created to raise awareness and reduce stigma of mental illness. Features interactive workshops and a keynote presentation by Dr. Xavier Amador, clinical psychologist, founder of the LEAP Institute, acclaimed author (including I'm Not Sick; I Don't Need Help), and international lecturer.

Watershed to Watershed Bike Tour

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Bike along the Lawrence Hopewell Trail as part of the River Days celebration, which is sponsored by the William Penn Foundation. ?Start with morning refreshments at the Watershed Center, then bike along the Lawrence Hopewell Trail to Lawrenceville and back again, ending with a picnic lunch at the Watershed Center. We will enjoy the natural beauty along the way and will also point out the dividing line between the Delaware River and the Millstone River watersheds.

General audience, ages 12+, Free. The Watershed Center

Kingston Historical Society Walking Tour

The walk will start at the Kingston Presbyterian Church parking lot, 4565 Route 27, Kingston, NJ and end at the Kingston Lock-tender's House in the D&R Canal State Park, where there will be a display on Kingston's businesses and a demonstration of Paul Kayne's models of the lock and former "A" Frame bridge.

Lifetime Kingston resident George Luck, Jr., leads the walk. He will talk about past businesses, representing a time when Kingston was dependent on local merchants to supply everything from groceries to shoes to meet the needs of residents and travelers. Please join us and learn about their impact in the community from the days of stagecoaches to today. Rides will be provided for those not wishing to walk back to the Kingston Presbyterian Church.
