Gentle Yoga, The Community Well

Suitable for all levels.

This series is designed for those who wish to improve their strength and flexibility with a gentle yoga class suitable for all ages and physical abilities. Many of the yoga postures will be done either seated or by using a chair or other props to assist students in stretching safely and mindfully. This is a perfect beginning yoga class that is also appropriate for pre or post natal women or those working with injury, limited mobility, or who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga. No materials or previous experience necessary.

Suicide Prevention Program, Hunterdon Medical Center

Hunterdon Behavioral Health's Intensive Family Support Services, School Based Youth Services and the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide will present "An Important Discussion: Suicide Prevention – The Role of the Trusted Adult" on Thursday, October 4th from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The program will be held at Hunterdon Medical Center (2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington ) in the Auditorium, located on the first floor of the hospital.

Teens and preteens are welcome to attend an arts and crafts activity centered around copying while their parents/guardians attend the program.

Copperheads in the Sourlands, Hopewell Train Station

Copperheads in the Sourlands: The Northern Copperhead is a reptile of surprising docility, beauty, and complexity, despite its reputation for aggression and perniciousness. It is one of two venomous snakes found in New Jersey both of which are imperiled in the state.

This presentation will highlight an ongoing radio-tracking study of Northern Copperheads taking place in the Sourlands. Presented by Tyler Christensen.

Dance on Film Festival: The Outlet Dance Project
