Eden Autism 5K & Fun Run/Walk

New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival - New Hope-Solebury High School

2nd Annual HistoryFest, Historical Society of Princeton

The Historical Society of Princeton (HSP) is hosting its second annual HistoryFest on Sunday, September 30, between 1:00 and 4:00 PM at Updike Farmstead. This year’s theme is “Edible History.”

Admission is free, and guests are invited to bring a picnic lunch (or snack) to enjoy on the grounds, along with music and lawn games. Special activities include hands-on cooking for families, a costumed presentation, “Revolutionary Tea,” and an Open Archive featuring artifacts and documents from HSP’s collection.

Historic Princeton Walking Tour - Bainbridge House

Enjoy a 2-mile, two-and-a-half hour walk around downtown Princeton and the University campus as you learn about historic sites in the area, including Bainbridge House, Nassau Hall, the University Chapel and Palmer Square. The early history of Princeton, the founding of the University and the American Revolution are just some of the stories from Princeton’s history that you will learn on your tour.

Tickets are $7. Advance purchase is recommended, as space is limited. Walk up ticket sales are cash only; guides cannot provide change.

Hopewell Valley Historical Society Annual Meeting

The Hopewell Valley Historical Society will hold its Annual Meeting on Sunday, September 30, 2018, from 3:00 pm until 4:30 pm, in the Morrell Hall at the Pennington United Methodist Church, located at 60 South Main Street, Pennington, NJ. The Annual Meeting will feature a presentation by Mercer County 4-H Agent, Chad Ripberger, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Mercer County 4-H Fair.

The Annual Meeting of the Hopewell Valley Historical Society will begin at 3:00 pm with a brief membership meeting, during which there will be an election of officers and trustees. The meeting is open to the public, but voting is for members only. There will also be a short review of the special events, initiatives, and accomplishments of the past year and remarks from the Hopewell Valley Historical Society President Larry Kidder. At 3:30 pm Chad Ripberger, Mercer County 4-H Agent, will present, "Mercer County 4-H — A Rich History of Making the Best Better." In commemoration of the centennial of the Mercer County 4-H Fair, Ripberger will highlight some of the key moments, people, and events in the history of Mercer County 4-H.

Join the Hopewell Valley Historical Society for this celebration of history, the 100th anniversary of Mercer County 4-H, and Hopewell Valley. Refreshments will be served.

A Bernstein Celebration, Princeton Symphony Orchestra

A spirited celebration of America’s beloved composer Leonard Bernstein opens with the energetic “Three Dance Episodes” from On the Town. Virtuoso violinist Daniel Rowland returns as soloist in the West Side Story Suite, and dazzling soprano Meghan Picerno joins the PSO for “Glitter and Be Gay” from the popular operetta Candide.  Richardson Auditorium.
