Plein Air Cinema Series: The Wind in the Willows, Grounds for Sculpture

Friday July 13, 2018
8:30 PM

Film begins at sundown; Free with after-hours admission Since the dawn of moving pictures, adults and children alike have enjoyed the infinite possibilities animated films can provide in telling a story. This summer, GFS brings you four unique cinematic experiences, each of which uses true craftsmanship, transcending the realms of art and of animation to ignite your imagination. In a story that has captured the hearts and imaginations of children and adults for nearly a century, this 1983 adaptation of The Wind in the Willows uses stop-motion puppetry to bring Kenneth Graham’s classic tales of Mole, Rat, Badger, and Toad to eye-catching life. As we travel from Toad Hall to the Wild Wood, experience the lively, song-filled adventures of our gentlemanly quartet.

Make a night of it! Join us for dinner at our pop-up, Café Terrace at Night! On this evening, we celebrate the Cuisine of South West France (Bordeaux, Toulouse). Seatings at 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM; reservations required and can be made by calling 609.584.7800.
