Local Business Advisory Council Meeting, Community Options

Thursday July 12, 2018
8:00 AM

There are many elements to the mission of providing residential and employment services to individuals with disabilities for national nonprofit Community Options. One of the biggest is volunteers from the local community, specifically businesses.

Community Options created the Community Options Business Advisory Council (COBAC) in 1992. Their primary duty was to support the Community Options employment staff in finding jobs for people with disabilities. In 2018, COBAC members advise the executive directors of Community Options' local offices on important issues, help organize and carry out fundraising activities and to establish and maintain corporate and civic ties in each locality where Community Options operates a program.

Community Options is currently looking for new COBAC members. The next COBAC meeting is 8 a.m. on July 12 at the Daily Plan it at 707 Alexander Road Building 2 Suite 208 Princeton, NJ 08540. For more information, you can contact Ida Bormentar at
