Poetry Reading & Nature Walk, D&R Greenway Land Trust

Join D&R Greenway Land Trust for the third in its series of poetry readings and nature walks. The June 13 program will feature poets Linda Arntzenius, Winnie Hughes and Jane McKinley at D&R Greenway’s Sourland Ecosystem Preserve, reading from their work as participants hike the land and sit with a picnic lunch.

This program is presented in conjunction with the Princeton Migrations Project, a community-wide investigation of the theme of migration taking place throughout Princeton and spearheaded by Princeton University Art Museum.

Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch, blanket and/or beach chair, water and a hat. D&R Greenway strongly recommends sturdy, waterproof hiking shoes, sun block, insect repellant, long pants tucked into long socks in closed shoes, and long-sleeved shirt. New York Times journalist and author, John Leland, will visit PSRC to discuss his new book which is “an extraordinary look at what it means to grow old and a heartening guide to well-being.” Mr. Leland “weaves together the stories and wisdom of six New Yorkers who number among the ‘oldest old’ — those eighty-five and up.” This is a free event.

Princeton Photography Club Annual Swap & Buy Event

The Princeton Photography Club’s annual Photography “Swap and Buy” event will take place on Wednesday June 13 at the Johnson Education Center, D&R Greenway Land Trust, One Preservation Way, Princeton NJ. Table set up 7PM. Swap & Buy opening sales 7:30-9:30pm.

The public is welcome, free admission & free tables. Tell your photographically-inclined friends and family to bring their unused and unwanted photography equipment, books or any other photographic related items. Refreshments will include wine, deserts, and lots of nice goodies! ADA accessible.
