Princeton Abbey Jazz Series with Candice Hoyes

Internationally-acclaimed jazz artist Candice Hoyes returns to Princeton to share music from her acclaimed album 'On a Turquoise Cloud' and much more. The concert will feature a 90-minute performance, followed by a light reception allowing guests to tour and learn more about The Abbey. This event will kick off the four part Princeton Jazz Series that will run once a month through July.

The concert series will feature a pre-concert talk by Hoyes highlighting her inspiration for selecting the pieces being performed that evening. Hoyes has led educational initiatives and taught across the US, including Jazz at Lincoln Center, United Nations School, as well as numerous museums, cultural centers, and public schools for all ages.  Free.

The Bridge Academy in Lawrenceville, NJ is a small school with a BIG mission – to teach children in grades 3-12 with language based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, to read and write.
