“Let My People Eat…And Eat…And Eat!”, Beth El Synagogue

Jews are known as The People of the Book - the cookbook! Gloria Golbert, Speaker and Educator, will present “Let My People Eat…And Eat…And Eat!” an interesting and entertaining look at Jewish foods from Biblical times to the present. Some are familiar foods, but others are as not well-known: Have you ever tasted ancestral foods such as aufschnitt or adafina? BONUS: Each attendee will receive a copy of Golda Meir's world famous recipe for chicken soup with matzo balls!! A kosher lunch will be served and there is a suggested donation of $5.00 per person. This Princeton Pi Day activity explores techniques to create the art of handmade "slime" with a variety of colors, glitter, texture, and more! This is an interactive STEAM workshop with an emphasis in science, art, and math. Participants will take home the slime they create (limit one per "scientist"). Ideal for ages 7-15.
