Hopewell United Methodist Church's Open Mic Night

Friday September 8, 2017
6:30 PM

The Hopewell United Methodist Church's Open Mic Night will be held on the second Friday in September (September 8) due to the Labor Day Holiday weekend. We will take the music outside and have our open mic on the church's front porch. (Weather permitting.) If you'd like to participate, plan on arriving at 6:30 pm to sign up for time slots.

The event starts at 7 pm and goes to 10 pm or longer and depending on interest follow with an awesome all inclusive jam. The event is free and open to the public. You do not need to be affiliated with any church to participate as a performer or audience member. Beginners and advanced musicians are welcome as well as anyone who just wants to listen and support your friends! We have recently partnered with the Einstein Alley Musicians Collaborative so you can expect to see and hear some really talented and gifted musicians.

Format: Sign up for 15 minute blocks (usually enough for 2 to 3 songs) and you may also invite others to join you! We usually have an open jam at the end of the evening Equipment: There is a PA & Mic's, Grand Piano, Organ, and a Drum Kit. Venue: The program is held in the chapel and the acoustics are outstanding! Refreshments: Bottled water, coffee, tea, cookies and snacks provided. Where: Hopewell United Methodist Church, 20 Blackwell Ave, Hopewell, NJ Contact: Contact Paul @ 609-865-8067 or email
