The vision of youth ministry at Covenant is a program which helps our young people to grow spiritually as disciples called by Jesus Christ, to be in full partnership in the community of faith, and to be challenged to full participation in the life and mission of Christ's church. 

     Youth are called to be disciples of Jesus the Christ.  To be faithful disciples involves a lifestyle that includes Bible study, prayer, worship and service.  Begin a disciple involves caring and supporting one another and proclaiming the good news to everyone.  Youth can be part of the beacon that shines with Christ's spirit.  Youth ministry provides opportunity for study, prayer and worship services  in order for young people to grow along their spiritual journey. 

     Youth are members of the body of Christ through their baptism.  Young people bring unique gifts and needs to the community of faith.  Young people need the opportunity to explore the gifts they have to offer.  Youth ministry responds to the needs and interests of young people by offering a varied program which reflects those needs and interests.  youth ministry encourages young people to explore the tough issues of life and to be their faithful best.  To be in full partnership in the community of faith means that young people and adults work together.  We support and nurture one another within this community of faith.  We encourage young people to be involved with all aspects of church life. 

     Youth ministry challenges young people to full participation in the life and mission of Christ's church.  youth ministry recognizes that young people are connected to the whole church, the community and the world.  Youth ministry offers opportunity for young people to be involved with mission and outreach in the community and beyond.
