CJNBW ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE 

 
The Central Jersey Network of Black Women invites you to its Annual Open House and a slide show and  presentation of a round-the-world voyage.

Presented by Joan B. Waite

Mrs. Waite is an acclaimed lecturer in African cultures and arts with a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College, and a master's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Northwestern University.  Her varied career took her to Nigeria, where she conducted research in African cultures and arts.  Mrs. Waite has selected the topic ART IN THE IVORY COAST, WEST AFRICA, for her presentation, which will be followed by a hands-on discussion of African art objects.  Mrs. Waite took the slides for this presentation.
