PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

Dear Sisters:

Once again we are on the verge of the hectic Holiday Season starting with Thanksgiving. I urge you to take some time for yourself, relax and don't get caught up in what can be a very stressful time.

Whether you plan to stay home for Thanksgiving or travel to be with family and friends, I wish you all a safe trip to and from your destinations.

Please tell your family and friends to attend our Nov. 14^th meeting to learn how to protect themselves from identity theft and what to do should you fall victim.

Detective Joseph Gorski of the East Windsor Police Dept. will be our guest

speaker. I'm sure we can all learn something from this presentation.

Also, remember to mark your calendars for Saturday, Dec. 2, (3 p.m. - 5 p.m.) for "Tea" at ETS's Chauncey Conference Center, Rosedale Road, Princeton, NJ (609) 921-3600. The deadline for reservations is 11/19, so call your family and friends to retain a spot.

Special thanks to Jessie for introducing us to Ms. Marcial, who spoke about "Prepaid Legal Services" at the CJNBW October 10th meeting.

Tues., Nov. 7, Election Day - Remember to cast your vote!!! Tues., Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m. CJNBW Steering Comm. meeting scheduled at Joyce's due to Library closing for Election Day. Tues., Nov. 14 CJNBW Regular monthly Meeting at Hickory Corner Rd. Library. Det. Joseph		Gorski of the E. Windsor Police Dept. will be the guest speaker, and will address the topic of "Identity Theft". FUTURE EVENTS: Sat., Dec. 2 - (3 p.m. - 5 p.m.) "Tea" at ETS's Chauncey Conf. Steering Committee Corner --
This Committee is made up of the officers of the Network. We meet at 7:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Twin Rivers Library, 276 Abbington Dr., E. Windsor, NJ., (609-443-1880). Any member can attend these meetings, if so desired.

The Book Club-
Call Ruth if you are interested in joining "Reading Between the Lines." . The next book is "A Piece of Cake" by Cupcake Brown. Meeting date to be determined.

**TIPS**
Heloise Make-your-own Prewash Spray: Mix equal parts of regular (not concentrated) hand dishwashing (NOT dishwasher) liquid, household ammonia and water. Pour into a clean spray bottle and label clearly. Store away from the reach of children and pets. When you use it on a stain, wash the garment immediately.

**Some Things to Think About**
Life isn't fair, but it's still good. When in doubt, just take the next small step. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.		Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does. Pay off your credit cards every month. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Liston is re-cooperating from his last eye operation. We wish him a speedy recovery! We also send well wishes to the following: Louise's uncle, Kevin; Illean's brother, Bill; and Lorna's mother. Ruth's sister, Laurel is doing well- thanks		for your prayers and good wishes. It is our intention to remember all who are ill, lost a loved one or congratulate members and their families when achievements are made. However, you must let Ruth know so mention can be made in the Newsletter.
