Dear Sisters:
The busy Holiday Season is finally here
and it is hard not to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of
shopping, food preparation, gift-wrapping and partying. Let’s
not forget those who are less fortunate. Take time to truly
enjoy family and friends and remember the real reason we
celebrate Christmas.
I thank everyone who joined us for the Tea
at “The Cookie Cottage”, a very unique and relaxing place. The
sandwiches and pastry were delicious. Some of the ladies even
did a little shopping right on the premises. Thanks again to
Ruth who came to our rescue in finding the “Cottage” after
ETS’s Chauncey Center cancelled Teas for a few weeks due to
weddings on their premises.
We are all looking forward to our Holiday
celebration at my home on Sunday, December 11, at 4 p.m. |

Please remember to bring your gift bags
(male or female) containing toiletries, which will be donated
to Crisis Ministries for distribution to needy individuals.
The Katrina evacuees, who are in the
Trenton area, still need our help. Trinity Episcopal Church
indicated they need cereals, can foods, detergents, paper
products and linens, which need not be new, but in good
condition and clean. I will collect anything you can donate
and get it to Trenton. Let me know if you have anything to
donate, and I will gladly arrange to pick up. Thanks to those
who have made a donation.
For the New Year, put on your thinking
cap as to how we can improve CJNBW and also attract new
members.
Have a wonderful and blessed Holiday Season.
