Princeton Arts Review: Winter 1998

The Job Market

by Lucille Gang Shulklapper

I heard that God was interviewed by a headhunter.

Some comments were:

Too spacey; Hard-working; Conscientious;

Gets a lot done in a short time;

but, leaves a lot unfinished.

Doesn't answer every question.

Difficult to reach,

Receives messages, Responds in odd ways,

Even sounds like a lunatic:

Says he's parted waters,

created a world,

brought dead issues to life.

Requires health benefits.

Despite ageless appearance,

has been near death.

Even pronounced dead.

Experience commands high salary.

A wizard at balancing profits and losses.

An original. Strong-willed.

Unlikely team-player.

Placement?

Deferred.
