2019 New York Giants Snow Bowl Tournament to Benefit Special Olympics New Jersey This Weekend

East Rutherford, NJ – Beginning Friday, March 15 and running through Sunday, March 17, 140 teams will play like the pros at MetLife Stadium in the annual Snow Bowl Flag Football Tournament, a fundraiser that benefits Special Olympics New Jersey and supported by the New York Football Giants.

To compete, teams of up to 15 must raise a minimum of $2,400 and are entitled to a minimum of three 6-on-6 light-touch flag football games on the turf in the MetLife Stadium. Teams choose to compete in either the law enforcement/firefighter, recreation, competitive, 40 & older, day and night recreation, or co-ed divisions.

Many teams have gone above and beyond the minimum fee to play, and as of Wednesday, March 13, close to $400,000 has already been raised to benefit the 25,000 athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey.

The New York Giants Legacy Museum and Giants locker room will be open for public viewing, and former New York Giants are expected to make appearances.
