The perfect Father's Day Gift!

Father's Day is just around the corner...June 15 to be exact. Now, is a great time to
start thinking about a gift that dad will love. Our philosophy is to give Dad
something that our child was involved in making. If that is your philosophy too then
I hope you enjoy some of the "creative" ideas.
- If your child is too small to color then trace his hand on a piece of heavy paper
and date and sign it. Most Dads love to display their child's first piece of art in
their office.
- Purchase a small framed chalkboard at a craft store. Have your child press their
hand in paint and then press it onto the chalkboard. If your child can write they
can put a message around the wood frame.
- Buy a sculpture kit (Zainy Brainy sells them) which will make a 3-D hand
impression. Dad will love to display it on his desk.
- Have your child draw a picture of "Me and My Dad".
- Make Dad's favorite muffins that can be served in bed on Father's day morning.
- Have your child make a few tickets good for... a back massage, sweeping the
garage, cleaning the dishes. The good deeds should all be done on Father's Day
so that the "moment" isn't lost.
- Plan a special walk for your child and Dad. He can show Dad interesting places
that he likes.
I am sure that you can add some even more clever ideas. Please share them with me
on-line so that I can add them to the list for next Father's Day! Have fun!
